A modern sandbox with a Kinect and augmented reality
“Augmented Reality Sandbox” is the prototype of the ultimate modern sandbox with a Kinect controller and augmented reality. This sandbox is capable of displaying real-time changes in topography you can inflict with your shovel, and even fill troughs with water. This concept of “Augmented Reality Sandbox” is a creation of the UC Davis W.M. Keck Center for Active Visualization in the Earth Sciences.
