Pixelhead – Anti-Facebook and facial recognition Mask
Even if for reasons of legal issues, Facebook has been forced to suspend its facial recognition system (for now of course), the identifications of people on Facebook are a sensitive point… German artist Martin Backes offers “Pixelhead” an anti facial recognition, either through Facebook or by security cameras. Of course, this creation is a thinking in the line of open-source camouflage from automatic face detection, but shows a real evolution of society and the growing need of the concept of “urban camouflage.”
