The flowtown website has just released The World Map of Online Communities 2010 ! It’s a world map created by giving a big or a small country regarding the size of the online community or social network. In 2010, without surprise, , , Habbo or Youtube are the biggest. It is interesting to compare this map to the original (the second map), created by XKCD in 2007.

    C’est clair, ou les vieux glaciers AOL et Windows LIVE ;) Je viens de voir qu’il y avait aussi une petite île baptisée “Lolcats” ;)

    Pour Orkut, je ne suis pas sur que la plupart des 100 millions soient très actifs (même si le réseau est assez populaire en Inde par exemple)
