La NASA met en ligne presque 3 millions d’images satellites de la Terre

La NASA vient de mettre en ligne presque 3 millions d’images satellites de la Terre ! Ces photographies ont été récoltées depuis 1999 grâce au Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer, aka ASTER, un système embarqué sur le satellite Terra. Dans cette incroyable collection, couvrant près de 99% de la surface de la Terre, on peut découvrir des images satellites des monuments historiques, des paysages célèbres, des formations géologiques, des grandes villes du monde ou même des volcans et des catastrophes naturelles. Je vous propose une sélection de mes images favorites, mais vous pouvez parcourir l’ensemble de cette collection sur le site de la NASA.
